Telephone table

Found on Facebook Marketplace. Wood was sanded, primed, painted and varnished. Rather than reupholstering (as it would have been difficult to access), the fabric was sprayed with fabric dye. The brass nails had tarnished over time so were also treated.

Fabric pouffe

Pattern measured on to pinned fabric (and later used as lining). Woodgrain print hand drawn on to white cotton fabric and cut to size using pattern pieces. Fabric sewn together, put on to cover the pouffe and stapled underneath to hold. Brass upholstery nails and metallic foil were later applied to finish.

Kitchen table and chairs

Found on Facebook Marketplace. The table and chairs were lightly sanded and primed with Dulux Difficult Surfaces (due to laminate surface). They were then painted and varnished several times. Chairs were re-cushioned with higher density foam and new fabric to match.

Bureau cabinet

Found on Facebook Marketplace. Fully sanded, primed and painted (including inside of drawers). As the back of the cabinet was wallpapered and impossible to remove, MDF sheets were applied and painted. Wallpaper was also added to the drawer sides.
