Hi, I’m Lucy Sykes. I do lots of creative things and I put them here for people to look at.

I live in East Yorkshire (near Hull) with a lovely chap called Gary, a laddy rescue cat called Jerry (who we got because my Mum is called Geri and we thought that was hilarious) and an ever growing number of house plants.

I’ve always been a split of arty and techy. Lucy Did was born out of needing a place to show everything I get up to – whether that was illustration, websites or furniture.

My favourite part of what I do are the commissions – particularly after the initial consultation when I develop a client’s ideas to create the arrangement and story on a page. Seeing people’s reactions when they see the finished result is priceless.

I love all things craft and DIY. My latest hobby is embroidery (hopefully when I get a bit more practice, I can put those online too!)
